and i agree: im 195cm in height and not especially small in shoulder size - i fit very easy into the smart. and its really inexpensive when it comes to fuel (like that would matther in USA - look at their $ per gallon) *g
The advertising is not actually paint on the car, these are printed stickers all around. I have to drive the car back to the renting company sometimes so that they change it for a new brand.

You'd be surprised of the room you have in that car; ok there's no rear seats but I'm about 2 meters tall and I can easily fit on the driver's seat

Yes it's great to drive in town and you can nearly park it evreywhere, you can even park it facing the pavement !
It's not electric, it works with Diesel and I actually can take the Higway with it because its max. speed is 140 Km/hour (dunno the equivalence in Mph)
